A real render of the editor with a sample address. Change the address, save, and the printed code opens the new page.

Free

Make a dynamic QR code

Your first code is free. Enter the page it should open; you can change it whenever you like.

You can change it later. Only http:// and https:// addresses.

No account and no email needed. You get a private manage link to edit the code and download it as PNG or SVG.

How it works

One printed code, a page you can change

  1. Make the code

Enter the page it should open. You get a short link like qrdeed.com/c/k7m2p9x and its QR code.

  2. Save your manage link

It is the only key to your codes: no account, no password. Keep it in a password manager or a safe note.

  3. Print it, change it any time

Download PNG or SVG and print. When the page should change, edit the target; the next scan opens the new page.

Why no subscription

Why printed codes stop working when a subscription lapses

It is how dynamic codes are built, not bad luck. Here is what happens.

Static codes cannot change

A static QR code holds your web address itself. It works without any service in between, but if the address changes, the printed code is wrong and has to be reprinted.

Dynamic codes depend on a redirect

A dynamic QR code holds a short link on the provider's domain. Each scan reaches the provider first, which forwards it to your page. That is what lets you change the page later, and it only works while the provider keeps the redirect switched on.

Why codes stop when a plan lapses

Dynamic codes are often sold as a monthly or yearly plan, or as a free trial. When the plan or trial ends, the redirect is commonly paused or replaced with a page of the provider's choosing. The ink on the menu still scans; it just no longer reaches you, and the only fix is to reprint.

What QRDeed does instead

The same editable redirect, paid for once. There is no plan to lapse and no renewal fee. We keep codes redirecting for as long as the service operates, and you can export every code and its target as a CSV file at any time.

FAQ

Questions

What is a dynamic QR code?

A QR code that holds a short link (qrdeed.com/c/...) instead of your page address. When someone scans it, the short link sends them on to your page. Because the printed code only holds the short link, you can change the page it opens without reprinting.

Is there really no subscription?

Yes. The licence is a single $29 payment for up to 50 codes. There is no renewal fee and nothing that expires, so there is no plan that can lapse and take your codes with it.

How long will my codes keep redirecting?

For as long as QRDeed operates, with no renewal fee. You can export the list of your codes and their target addresses as a CSV file from your manage page at any time.

Do I need an account?

No. When you make a code you get a private manage link. Anyone with that link can edit your codes, so keep it somewhere safe, like a password manager.

What if I lose my manage link?

For a paid licence, email support with your payment receipt and we will send a new manage link (the old one stops working). A free code cannot be recovered without its link, so save it when you make the code.

What do you record when someone scans a code?

Only a count per code per day. We do not store the address, device, browser or location of the person scanning.

Which file formats and sizes can I download?

PNG at 256, 512, 1024 or 2048 pixels, and SVG, which scales to any print size. You can choose the error correction level (L, M, Q or H); higher levels survive more damage but make a denser code.

What can a code not point to?

Codes can only open http:// and https:// addresses. Codes that point to phishing, malware or illegal content are turned off. You can report a code from the Report abuse page.

Can I get a refund?

Full refund within 14 days of purchase: email support and your deed returns to the free plan.
